Membership

We are delighted you are interested in becoming a part of the family here at Red Mountain Baptist Church. Before you begin to take those steps in becoming a church member there are a few things you should evaluate and consider. Church membership is important because it signifies that you’re making a commitment to a local body of believers. This commitment involves your time, energy, and work. As part of the body of Christ your mission is not only to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ but to also submit and to encourage every other believer in the church. Church membership is limited to those who have trusted in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for their own personal sin. Church membership is for those who have passed from death into life through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. Church members should not only be those who have trusted in Christ as their personal Savior but also those who actively serve Christ, His people, and His creation. This service is out of a devotion for, satisfaction in, and love of the Everlasting God.

Our desire here at Red Mountain Baptist Church is that you understand who we are as a church body, what we believe, and how we are working to accomplish the mission that God has given us. We also want you to know what is expected of you as a believer and church member, how you can best serve here, and the general benefits of church membership.
